Think cleverly about green IT

Speaking at last week’s Green Computing Summit, author and Yale University professor Daniel Esty urged government information technology managers to think creatively about reducing energy consumption.  Noting that IT consumes 2 percent of the nation’s energy supply, Esty continued: “So if we look at lighting, it’s not just using more efficient bulbs, but using information to manage lighting better.” Link to full story in Government Computer News.
